Writing To Celebrities For Autographs

One of the easiest ways to build a collection of autographed celebrity photos is to ask the celebrities themselves for the photos. Sending out these autographed photos is actually a very smart career move for these celebrities as it helps to build their fan base and get people excited and talking about these celebrities. It only makes sense for these celebrities to honor the requests of their fans and keep them happy. If you are looking to get an autographed celebrity photo from one of your favorite stars, there are only a few simple steps which you will need to take!
First, you should write a short letter to the celebrity, expressing your admiration of their talent and ask for an autographed photo which you can add to your collection. If your letter is concise and respectful, there will be no reason for the celebrity to deny your wishes. One of the main jobs of a celebrity is to keep their fans happy, for a happy fan ensures an interest in their career for a long time to come. If a celebrity goes out of their way to ignore or disrespect a fan, this will not bode well for their public image.
Secondly, whenever writing to request an autographed celebrity photo, you should include a self-addressed, stamped envelope. This is only polite as you are asking the star to send you something. You shouldn't ask that celebrity to pay for the postage as well. By sending a self-addressed stamped envelope, you are greatly increasing your chances of receiving a reply from your favorite celebrity with something special inside. This envelope will ensure that not only will the celebrity and their team not have to pay for the postage to send the autographed photo back to you, but that the envelope will be correctly address and not sent somewhere else by mistake.
Many people will also recommend that you send a photo for the celebrity to sign. If the celebrity that you request a photo from doesn't happen to have any photos on hand, your request may get lost in the shuffle. Additionally, by sending a photo, all you are requesting from the celebrity is their autograph. They will not need to supply anything other than a small fraction of their time. With so much to gain and nearly nothing to lose, any celebrity will take this small amount of time and effort to make their fans happy.
The most important thing to remember when collecting autographed celebrity photos is to always be respectful of the star. By giving them as little to do as possible to make you happy, the chances of them doing so are much greater. Any celebrity would be happy to please a fan and when very little needs done to accomplish this task, many celebrities would be delighted at the opportunity. You must remember that these people are celebrities only because of fans like you and, while remaining respectful of them, you can easily encourage them to show their appreciation with an autograph.
